A tall, round-bellied vessel in raw stoneware, left unglazed so the sandy clay and the ridges of the throw stay on the surface. The neck narrows to a rolled rim. Thrown rather than cast, so the wall thickness varies slightly around the body — a property of the process, not a flaw in the piece.
